About UTAR Askar Wataniah

UTAR Askar Wataniah Army Reserve Unit - Kampar Campus is a campus organization work closely with C Company of 3rd Battalion, Regiment 503 AW based in Ipoh.

It is the military reserve force of the Malaysian Army. An equivalent formation in the British Army would be the Territorial Army. 

UTAR Askar Wataniah also is a media for UTAR students to inquiries and joining Askar Wataniah. All members who joined the official members of Askar Wataniah will be trained and share the military knowledges from our officers and trainers from Rejimen Askar Wataniah or regular armed force such as Rejimen Askar Melayu Diraja (RAMD) and etc. 

Our official Rejimen Askar Wataniah members will have the priority on knowing and learning the military knowledges. Guns and Rifles such as M16A1 are part of it. Military knowledges, strategic formations and other disciplines are part of our trainings. Visitations to relevant Armed Base such as Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) and Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) are also organized for our official members. 

We serve our nations and serve it proudly as an army reserve unit. We hope more teenagers or youngsters who are interested able to join us and be part of the Malaysian Armed Force!
